Which devices are compatible with capture?

How to check if your smartphone can perform a capture

To make a capture with the Visuary app (available on the App Store for iOS devices), your device must have a LiDAR sensor.

The LiDAR sensor is only available on iPhone Pro models from the iPhone 12 Pro onwards and on iPad Pro models from 2020 or later. 

How to visually identify a compatible device?

If your device has a small circular black sensor near the camera, it means your device is compatible—this is the LiDAR sensor.

  • iPhone Pro/Pro Max 15

  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2021)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (2022)
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2022)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (2024)
  • iPad Pro 13-inch (2024)

If you own one of the models listed above but are unable to perform a capture, your LiDAR sensor may be defective.
