# How do I change the orientation of the plan ?

## Everything you need to know about floor plan orientation

The "Rotate Floorplan" feature allows you to rotate the entire plan to change its orientation.

**It’s recommended to make this change on the current floor plan so that it applies to all views of the plan.**

This can be useful if the plan was captured at an angle that doesn't match your intended use, or simply to improve its readability.

**Open your project in the "Current Floor Plan" view**

**Open the left-hand panel**

**Click on the "Tools" icon**  
At the bottom of the panel, a wrench-shaped icon gives you access to advanced features.

**Click on the "Rotate" button**  
Once you're in the tools menu, click on “Reorient” to rotate the entire floor plan.

**Choose the rotation angle**  
You can rotate the plan as needed.

**Click the cross to finish**  
To exit rotation mode, click the cross in the top left corner.

### ℹ️ Notes

- This action **does not affect the dimensions or objects** on the floor plan — only the overall orientation changes.
- The rotation applies to **the entire plan**, including both captured and modeled elements.
- You can use this feature **at any time**, even after you've started working on the plan.
